Season 2026 registrations are OPEN!!!

Pricing and Start Dates

In 2026, Hornsby Lions Junior Rugby Union Club proudly provides competitions for boys and girls of all ages. In 2026 Hornsby Lions will field teams in the following competitions:

  • Walla Rugby (for boys and girls Under 4 & Under 5)
  • Minis Tritag (for boys and girls Under 6 & Under 7)
  • Minis Tackle (for boys and girls Under 8 & Under 9)
  • Juniors (for kids 10 years to 18 years old)
  • Girls Rugby (for girls 12+ years old)

Registration fees for our 2026 season are as follows:

Walla Rugby – Regular $149 – Early Bird $99

Minis Tritag – Regular $199 – Early Bird $179

Minis Tackle – Regular $219 – Early Bird $199

Juniors – Regular $269 – Early Bird $229

For all new players, your membership also includes shorts and socks. Also, all players will receive a new training shirt with registration in 2026. New minis and Mighty U5s players will also receive their own Hornsby Lions rugby ball!

Checklist before you start – this will save you time!

  • If you don’t already have one, create an account at https://myaccount.rugby.com.au or download the Rugby Xplorer app.
  • Please have your NSW Active Kids Voucher with you (this cannot be applied after registration)
  • Have an up-to-date passport style photo of only your child (head and shoulders only (NO caps/hats to be worn in photo)
  • Please have your child’s height and weight ready as it will be required to complete the registration process.  It is important that this is accurate. The Club has a responsibility to check and record this again before the season starts.
  • When asked if you wish to set the player profile to “Private” please select “No”.

Step by step guide (3 minute process)

Open the Rugby Xplorer App or click on https://myaccount.rugby.com.au

  • Find a Club – Select player (if more than one linked to account) then Search for Hornsby JRU
  • Role – select Player. (For Mighty 5s, select Modified Participant) Do not choose training only.                                                                            
  • Registration type –
    • Wallas Rugby 4-5 year, select Little Rugby (note, registration is open)
    • U6 to U17 Minis and Juniors, select XVs Juniors 
    • U12+ Girls, select Junior Girls
  • Duration – select Season
  • Confirm/Upload  Profile Photo
  • Confirm Additional Details
  • Confirm/input Emergency Contact Details
  • Input Height & Weight (if requested), confirm/search Current School
  • Registration Summary – Add Active Kids Voucher Number
